Cotswolds, Stratford & Warwick

Tour lasts 9-10 hours

British countryside at its best; Cotswold hills and valleys and Warwickshire's leafy lanes, thatched cottages and farmland, all sources of inspiration for William Shakespeare.

The Cotswolds, a region of hills, valleys and historical villages. Sheep provided this area with plentiful supplies of Medieval England's greatest resource—wool. Great churches, towns and villages were built.

Anne Hathaway's cottage and garden, StratfordStratford, a 14-arched bridge is the gateway to this town made famous by William Shakespeare's birth in 1564. Visit the half-timbered house where he was born and Holy Trinity Church where he lies buried.

Warwick, is an ancient market town with a quaint blend of Tudor and Georgian buildings, many of them antique shops and markets. Dominating the town is one of the most imposing medieval castles in Europe.
