Meet Our Guides
Guides are carefully selected for their knowledge, personality and driving ability. Extensively trained, all guides
are qualified by and registered with the London Tourist Board.
Many of our guides have special interests and hold extra qualifications in, for example, architecture, history,
art galleries, the theatre and shopping. Below is just a small selection of them.

Hard to believe, but Nick brings with him over 30 years of experience of guiding visitors
around Britain's beautiful sights. When he's not busy sharing his wealth of knowledge, Nick enjoys gastronomy, shopping
and sport. |
Jane, an Oxford graduate, has been with Guidelines to Britain for 15 years.
A fluent French speaker, Jane is a member of the Institute of Linguists. Her interests include gardens, architecture,
art and history. |

Gordon, a keen musician, has been sharing his love of Great Britain with visitors for 10 years. He is also a traditional Toastmaster and has officiated at banquets and functions attended by several British Prime Ministers and other dignitaries. |
A graduate in medieval history, Jerry is able to really bring England's castles, cathedrals and
historic sights to life. This, combined with his years of experience and love of "gardening, gossip and scandal"

Don't be surprised if you recognise Russell he's been a professional actor for 20 years, and has
appeared in numerous movies, theatre and television productions. A tour with Russell is sure to provide you with unique insight

Gerry has spent 7 years as a guide to London and Britain. With his many years
experience in personnel management, you'll find him warm and courteous. Gerry's other interests are history and building
restoration. |

Graham has worked as a tour guide for over five years, and specialises in family

in them" which is no surprise considering his experience as a civil engineer and town planner. Fluent in French, Richard's been with Guidelines for four years, and his hobbies include cooking and fine wine. |
